Arbortronics was established in 1989 by Motek Szpindel (P.Eng.), as a consulting company with a unique focus on analyzing and resolving field problems for complex microprocessor based equipment. The operations rapidly expanded to include design, service, installation and maintenance, light assembly and contract manufacture of electronic sub-assemblies. In the early 1990’s Arbortronics became Mars Corporation’s (MEI) first service center in Canada and later expanded to providing support to a wide range of unattended payment products in the Canadian market. In 2012, Motek retired and the business was sold, and while the business name was changed to Arbortronics Control Systems Inc., the people, the facility and the services provided continue under the new owner.
Today our sales, service and manufacturing operations encompass a wide range of commercial electronics, payment devices and industrial controls across many industries in North America. Including vending, laundry, retail, transportation, gaming, parking and water metering.
ACSI continues to follow the engineering philosophies established by the originating company’s founder through its ongoing commitment to research and development with a focus on integration, improvement or innovation of the services and products we provide as a business.
